The Chippewa-Cree Tribal Council consists of nine elected members who meet regularly at monthly intervals. They are chosen from five electoral districts; there also is a member-at-large. They serve staggered four-year terms.

CHIPPEWA CREE TRIBAL COURT
The judiciary article was added to the Constitution by amendment in Article XII in 1972. The judges are appointed, rather than elected. They can be reached at the above address, which is the same as the Council’s.
